Legislative Update

With the New Hampshire Legislature in session, the NHPS is actively involved in advocating for our citizens on a number of bills related to mental health and substance use. We have already had several members of our legislative committee testify on behalf of the NHPS. Please consider joining our Legislative Committee if you would like to get more involved.

Testifying on behalf of the NHPS in the New Hampshire Legislature requires formal pre-approval from the Legislative Committee and President of the NHPS. The NHPS puts careful thought into which bills it will and will not take action on in order to best advocate for the citizens of our state. Approval from NHPS is not required for any individual to testify on behalf of themselves.
